2004-07-18 [pixish]: why do we have to put a wiki page up there?
2004-07-18 [chaika]: So that there isn't too much space taken up by the stories or art on this page.
2004-07-18 [chaika]: So that there isn't too much space taken up by the stories and art on this page.
2004-07-18 [Galenfea]: Sounds good, I might have a go. Need story...
2004-07-19 [oneangredwarf]: i'll try it heehee
2004-07-21 [This House is Deleted7]: ^_^ I'm the first entry! I might put up a picture, too, sometime...
2004-07-21 [Khayman]: Question: I have written a story that is coauthored by 4 friends from school. If I get their permission, may I post it up for the contest?
2004-07-22 [chaika]: Yes, but you must have their permission.
2004-07-22 [Khayman]: ok, great! I'll email or call whosever parts I need to use. Once we enter, may we use the participants' badge?
2004-07-22 [Khayman]: Posted my two entries. Got Marissa's permission for the first part of Battle for Caerwyn, the second part is mine. These wikis already had the stories divided into chapters, I didn't want them all on one page because of length. So, I posted up the pages that I wanted to enter (didn't do the whole stories because they were outside the word limit. Let me know if this is a problem, and I can probably fix it so that both entries consist of one page each, instead of multiple pages. Also, the Battle for Caerwyn wiki is 'owned' by [Shade of Darkness], which is just another screen name of mine, not a separate person.
2004-07-23 [chaika]: Ok, and yes participants may use the participant badge as soon as they enter.
2004-07-23 [Ukia]: So how many people can enter?
2004-07-24 [chaika]: As many people as possible until I make a deadline. The more the people, the harder the competition.
2004-07-31 [tiragon]: I think I'll give it a try. I doubt i'll win though, i'm not that good of a writer
2004-07-31 [Khayman]: go ahead and givie it your best shot! *idea O.o* Would anyone be willing to help me 'proofread' people's writings and give tips and suggestions on how to improve? I'm thinking of starting a wiki where people can post their stories and recieve tips in return, because I've noticed a lot of people make comments like [tiragon]'s, that they want to or will enter but don't think they're any good. I'm not the best myself, but I think I could probably give at least a few good tips on grammar, detail, etc., and maybe it would help people write better and/or become more confident in their writing.
2004-08-01 [Khayman]: thanks! I'm adding your name to the list. Writing Help. Think if anyone else offers help, I'll only accept one more. the other person who has offered help is [font]. ^^
2004-08-12 [OvertheMoooon]: When is the contest over??
2004-08-13 [Khayman]: mmm, there's no deadline yet. Ask chaika to see if she has something in mind, but I haven't heard anything yet.
